About
Welcome! I am a photographer born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, where I spend my winter months capturing the rugged beauty of the West. When summer arrives, my backyard shifts to the vast wilderness of Denali National Park, Alaska, where I have worked as a driver-guide since 2016. This seasonal rhythm allows me to pursue my deepest photographic passions: wildlife, landscapes, and railroads.
My journey behind the lens began at a young age when my father bought me my very first point-and-shoot film camera. Over time, I graduated to his Ricoh TLS, spending years shooting rolls of Kodachrome and classic black-and-white film. This analog foundation shaped how I see light, composition, and patience long before I made the transition to digital photography in 2016.
Guiding in Alaska has given me a front-row seat to some of the most remote and breathtaking scenery in the world, allowing me to build a vast collection of photographs from all across the Last Frontier. Whether capturing a locomotive cutting through a mountain pass or a quiet moment with local wildlife, my goal is to share the wonder of these places with you.
Thank you for stopping by. If my work resonates with you, please share it with your friends and fellow nature lovers!
